Still very cold, too cold to write, fire seems to have no effect unless you are close up to the blaze.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, USA in 1850, Dr. Richard Barrington Nevitt was educated in Canada while seeking refuge from the American Civil War. He would later join the North-West Mounted Police in 1874 as an assistant surgeon, traveling with them into Western Canada for the creation of Fort Macleod.
